My mission
is to help educators develop their personal ideas to create a business that they feel passionate about, so they can leave the school stress behind and gain happiness and freedom in their lives.
Designing websites for new businesses brings me great joy, and I find it equally delightful to assist you in shaping your social media strategy. I remember how it confusing it all felt starting out online, so I explain things simply without the technical jargon.
After being a teacher, I felt very lost. I didn't know where to turn for support, and really wanted someone to talk to who had left teaching and would understand all the thoughts and feelings that I was experiencing.
Thrive After Teaching was born.
Thrive After Teaching:
A community in Facebook full of teachers leaving the profession, who would like to work from home or start a business. It is a very supportive group, where I interview teachers to share their story into their businesses that they have developed themselves, through personal passions.
My passion is to help and support teachers who are leaving the profession and wish to have a life with the flexibility and enjoyment of working from home or starting a business, to generate ideas for their new pathway in life.
Having been a teacher for over 20 years I completely understand the emotional roller coaster you may ride when you decide to leave the classroom. I certainly did!
From being the Computer lead teacher for the majority of my career, I had the belief that I could learn and create a life after teaching in the online world. It was an unknown area to me, but loved increasing my knowledge and expertise in many fields.
Firstly, I learnt how to create digital drawings using an iPad and Procreate and Affinity Designer. Every evening I would digitally draw, I had found something I loved to do. This helped my recovery from leaving a permanent teaching contract held for over 20 years.
For the first time in years, I focused upon, what I desired to learn.......
Learning became liberating and provided me with a sense of achievement, purpose and fulfilment.

I completed the Social Media Service Provider CPD course with an amazing TechPixies community, which propelled me forward in being thirsty for learning more about the online world and how it can help me in my future.
Website design
Design websites for educators, coaches and new businesses. Happy on Squarespace, Wix and WoCode and Duda.

I used Membervault for a Scratch membership during lockdown 2020.
I've used New Zenler and Funnel Sketchers to for building courses
How do I create a planner and sell it on Amazon?
I have a planner for sale on Amazon : I used Canva for the design process.
I also have had a Shopify store with a print on demand shop on, with my personally created digital designs.
A redbubble store called ZoMoCreations.
An Etsy store too.
Yep, I learnt it all and more, and happily continue!
